Privacy Policy
Bluemoonkey (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Irish data protection law.
What data we collect
- Email address — when you create an account
- Blueprint data — projects, nodes, notes, and related content you save to your account
- Token purchase history — records of token purchases and usage (when applicable)
- Technical data — authentication session data required to keep you logged in
Why we collect it
We collect and process your data to provide the Bluemoonkey service: to authenticate you, store and sync your blueprints, manage token balances, process payments, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Data storage
Your account and blueprint data are stored securely using Supabase, hosted in the EU region. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is restricted by row-level security so you can only access your own projects.
Third parties
- Supabase — database, authentication, and cloud storage
- Anthropic — AI processing when you use AI Advisor, Generate, or Reverse Engineer features
- Stripe — payment processing for token purchases (when enabled)
Each third party processes data only as necessary to provide their service. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies for further details.
Your rights under GDPR
As a data subject in the EU/Ireland, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data
- Rectification — correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — request deletion of your account and data
- Portability — receive your blueprint data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON export)
- Restrict or object — to certain processing, where applicable
- Lodge a complaint — with the Data Protection Commission (Ireland) at dataprotection.ie
You can delete your account directly from the Bluemoonkey app (Account → Delete My Account) or contact us at hello@bluemoonkey.com.
Cookie policy
Bluemoonkey uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage:
- Essential — required for login and saving your work (always active)
- Preference — optional; remembers canvas preferences such as tutorial completion and local version history
We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Non-essential preference storage is only enabled after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can change your preferences at any time by clearing site data or contacting us.
Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. When you request account deletion, your personal data and projects will be deleted within 30 days of your confirmed deletion request. Backup copies may persist for a short period thereafter before being permanently removed.
